FUTURE SOUL RECORDS – “THE G++DNESS EP”

This year at Winter Music Conference, FUTURE SOUL RECORDS is set to release a two-headed beat beast as John Arnold (Ubiquity Records) & Jeremy Ellis (Ayro, Ubiquity Records) go head to head with Daz-I-Kue (Bugz In The Attic, Future Soul Records) & Joy Jones (Future Soul Records), Domu (Rima) and Dominican Republic's rising son, Ezel (Yoruba Records, Future Soul Records) to offer up a boogie-banging double A-side EP with “THE G++DNESS”!

With a smooth blend of programming, live musical performance and soulful vocals, each front on “THE G++DNESS” brings us back to the days of dance floor boogie with elements of house, funk, disco and any of the many other sounds boogie opened the door for in the ‘70’s and ‘80’s.

The A-Side (if you’re working with the good, old-fashioned vinyl!) finds the inimitable Daz-I-Kue on the beats and at the boards with long-time collaborator Joy Jones on vocals and featuring John Arnold and Jeremy Ellis, Amy Arena and K Claude Harris all in the mix to bring you updated version of Unlimited Touch's “In The Middle”, a lively boogie tune that will take you back… just in time to be shifted into the future as Domu provides one of his mini-maximum remixes (and possibly a farewell to the troops for the production / remix master, who has announced his exit from the industry after years at the top of the underground production game).

On the flip side, check for the track “Magic” a boogie classic formerly done by Circle City Band. John Arnold & Jeremy Ellis provide production as well as the long-lost art of musicianship with Jeremy on keys, John on guitar and special guest Paul Randolph (Jazzanova) on bass and providing vocals! To round it out, up-start producer, Ezel (Yoruba Records, Future Soul Records) kicks in with a remix that will double as the epilogue to “THE GOODNESS” as well as a prelude foreshadowing things to come!

To make the whole adventure thrice as nice at any price, there are instrumentals, provided for DJs and for that focused repeat spin that will hopefully keep everyone together and primed for FUTURE SOUL RECORDS releases from many of the talented contributors!

Along with unleashing this beast of beats on the public (via iTunes, BagPak, GrooveDist and more) FUTURE SOUL RECORDS also invites the party people to the place to be… “THE G++DNESS”: the event. The official record release party for the EP is all set to take place in Miami during Winter Music Conference 2010.
